Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Big Deal Twin (the "Platform"), creating an account, subscribing to deal alerts, or purchasing a certificate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

This Platform is operated by Iliad Interactive Group on behalf of its media partners. References to "we," "us," or "our" refer to the platform operator and the partner whose branded storefront you are using.

2. Platform Overview

Big Deal Twin is a deal marketplace where customers purchase discounted certificates redeemable at local businesses. Deals are curated and sold by our media partner, who operates this storefront. Certificates are fulfilled and processed by Iliad Interactive Group's BOGO HQ platform.

We act as a marketplace facilitator. We are not the seller of the goods or services offered by the participating businesses, and we do not guarantee the quality, availability, or performance of any business.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States to purchase certificates. By purchasing, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Purchasing Certificates

All purchases are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By completing a purchase you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your full payment card information.

When you purchase a certificate, you will receive a PDF certificate via email containing a unique QR code or redemption code. Keep this certificate — it is your proof of purchase and required for redemption.

• Certificates are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
• Each certificate has a face value and a purchase price; the face value is the amount redeemable at the business.
• Certificates may have quantity limits per transaction.
• Pricing is in US dollars. All sales are final except as described in Section 5.

5. Refund Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on purchased certificates once a checkout session is completed, except in the following circumstances:

• Business closure: If the participating business permanently closes before you are able to redeem your certificate, contact us within 30 days of the closure for a full refund.
• Duplicate charge: If you were charged more than once for the same order, we will correct the error promptly.
• Technical error: If a certificate was not delivered due to a platform error, we will re-issue it or provide a refund at our discretion.

6. Certificate Redemption

Certificates are subject to the following redemption terms:

• Certificates expire as stated on the certificate (typically a set number of months from the purchase date).
• Certificates are redeemable only at the listed business location(s). Valid locations are displayed on the deal page and on your certificate.
• Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash or combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
• Expired certificates have no cash value and cannot be refunded.
• The participating business reserves the right to verify the certificate's authenticity via QR code scan before acceptance.
• Certificates cannot be redeemed more than once.

7. Deal Scheduling and Availability

Deals may be listed in advance with a scheduled go-live date. Deals shown as "Coming Soon" are not yet available for purchase. We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any deal before its go-live date without notice.

Once a deal sells out or expires, it is no longer available. We do not guarantee any specific quantity or availability.

8. User Accounts and Communications

You do not need an account to purchase a certificate. However, if you subscribe to deal alerts, you provide your email address and consent to receive promotional emails from Big Deal Twin. You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to resell certificates for commercial profit.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Platform.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Platform without written permission.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is owned by or licensed to Iliad Interactive Group and its media partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

11. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF ANY DEAL, BUSINESS, OR CERTIFICATE.

Participating businesses are independent third parties. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any business, including the refusal to honor a certificate.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ILIAD INTERACTIVE GROUP AND ITS PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR PURCHASE OF ANY CERTIFICATE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE CERTIFICATE IN QUESTION.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ada County, Idaho.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
